Job Summary
Managing the Information Security Program Support Services for the NIH Office of the Director, the full-time Program Manager will oversee cybersecurity support teams, coordinate contractor resources, and ensure program management outcomes while primarily working remotely with occasional travel to Bethesda, MD.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Program Manager and interface with key stakeholders, maintaining accountability for cost, schedule, and performance across all task areas
- Establish and maintain a structured reporting framework and lead recurring status meetings to support government decision-making
- Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and timeliness standards while managing a multidisciplinary cybersecurity team
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT/cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role on federal contracts
- Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity operations in FISMA / NIST 800-53 environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Senior security certification such as CISSP or CISM (or comparable)
