Program Manager

Job Summary

Serving as the primary point of contact for the contractor, the remote Program Manager will oversee technical, administrative, and contract management activities for the USDA Forest Service Washington Office Fire and Aviation Management organization, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and successful execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary interface between the Contractor and the Government
• Coordinate execution of all contract requirements and monitor schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Prepare recurring status reports for Government leadership and ensure contract compliance and quality assurance

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible program or project management experience
• Minimum three years supporting the U.S. Forest Service or another federal agency
• Demonstrated experience managing federal contracts and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
