Program Manager
Job Summary
To support a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs program focused on suicide prevention and mental health, the full-time Program Manager will independently lead contract operations, client delivery, and workforce management while supervising staff and ensuring strategic growth.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a deputy to the Sr Program Manager, overseeing contract operations and client delivery
- Directly supervise and manage employees across various roles and disciplines, setting performance expectations and providing coaching
- Plan and coordinate execution across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment of priorities, resources, and outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, public administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in program management or related fields, with demonstrated leadership in a deputy program manager capacity
- Experience managing employees across multiple roles and levels of seniority
- Proficiency in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
