Program Manager, Fiber Design

Job Summary

Driving operational planning and cross-functional coordination, the full-time remote Program Manager, Fiber Design & Construction (FDC) - Build Execution will manage the execution of fiber deployment programs while ensuring alignment across engineering, permitting, and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate build strategy into weekly work plans, prioritizing actions and deliverables
• Track milestones and surface risks across numerous projects to maintain visibility into the build funnel
• Support the development of the MDU program and standardize build approaches for consistency across markets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Five to seven years of telecom experience, including fiber planning, engineering, permitting, or construction
• Strong understanding of the fiber build lifecycle and network readiness
• Experience managing operational backlogs and creating structured execution paths
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and program tracking tools
