Program Manager for Production
Job Summary
Owning the production journey for top customers, the full-time remote Program Manager for Production will manage complex manufacturing projects, navigate supply chain challenges, and ensure successful transitions from prototyping to volume production.
Key responsibilities
- Be the single point of accountability for customer production outcomes and manufacturing success
- Manage complex production projects, addressing DFM issues, supplier selection, and quality requirements
- Guide customers through the transition from prototyping to high-volume manufacturing
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in custom mechanical manufacturing (CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, etc.)
- Direct experience managing production projects through their full lifecycle
- Deep understanding of DFM, tolerances, material selection, and manufacturing processes
- Startup experience and ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Mechanical engineering degree is a bonus
