Program Manager - Homeland Security

Job Summary

Leading a mission-critical program for the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time remote Supervisory Program Manager - Homeland Security will manage contract deliverables, empower a diverse team, and ensure compliance with federal standards to support national border security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface for the Contracting Officer Representative and government stakeholders, ensuring contract deliverables exceed quality, timeline, and budgetary standards
• Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and operational oversight to a diverse team of project managers, developers, instructional designers, instructors, and training assistants
• Lead strategic planning and monitor compliance with federal standards, including Section 508 accessibility, security protocols, and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of program or project management experience, preferably in a federal government contracting environment
• Mastery of modern project management systems (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent)
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a standard federal background investigation/suitability determination
