Job Summary
To enhance passenger and employee safety in rail and transit systems, the full-time remote Principal Program Manager will oversee maintenance contracts, ensure compliance with regulations, and monitor performance metrics while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage contractor compliance and performance, including maintenance oversight and contract administration
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability and maintenance quality
- Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure safety and regulatory compliance for elevator and escalator systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field
- 15+ years of relevant work experience, including 10+ years with elevator and escalator systems
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing maintenance contracts for public transit or similar facilities
- Knowledge of elevator and escalator codes and accessibility requirements
- Experience in contract administration and performance auditing
