Job Summary
Leading the execution of a national public safety communications program, the part-time Program Manager, Public Safety will serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, manage program plans and schedules, and coordinate engagement with public safety partners, all while working remotely with occasional in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for day-to-day program activities, ensuring effective communication with government stakeholders
- Develop and manage program plans, schedules, and resource allocations to achieve program objectives across national initiatives
- Coordinate with public safety partners to gather operational requirements and facilitate discussions for improving first responder communications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in managing analytics or data-driven programs
- Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager for strategy or decision-support efforts
- Knowledge of multi-state or national public safety communications programs
- Experience engaging with local, state, tribal, and federal public safety entities on communication technologies
