Job Summary
Leading high-priority initiatives for the VA Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Program Manager with PMP Certification will manage program activities, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives to improve mental health outcomes for Veterans.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management activities for suicide prevention initiatives, including planning, scheduling, and risk management
- Serve as the primary contractor point of contact for VA stakeholders, facilitating meetings and aligning on program priorities
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare program management within an integrated Health Care System
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting large corporations or government agencies
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent quality-focused project management credential required at time of hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA PIV credential and pass a VA background investigation
