Job Summary
To support a major federal cybersecurity initiative, the full-time Program Manager with PMP Certification will manage the complete project lifecycle for cybersecurity technology infrastructure, ensuring operational resilience and compliance while working remotely within close proximity to the National Capital Region.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates the full project lifecycle for cybersecurity initiatives, overseeing all phases from initiation to closeout
- Establishes project requirements and manages resource acquisition to ensure successful program execution aligned with federal mission needs
- Acts as the primary liaison between the contractor and federal agency leadership, ensuring trust and transparency throughout program execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 15+ years of experience in supporting large-scale IT programs as a Program Manager or similar role
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory
- Strong technical understanding of Cybersecurity IT, including SIEM, EDR, and DevSecOps
- Active Public Trust 6c clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
