Program Mentor for Employment

Job Summary

To support participants in their employment journey, the part-time Program Mentor for Employment will provide one-on-one mentoring, facilitate soft skills workshops, and assist with job search strategies while working remotely on a fixed-term contract for six months.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions to track progress, set goals, and address personal barriers
• Facilitate group workshops on professional communication, interview preparation, and resume building
• Provide emotional and case management support, identifying personal or socioeconomic barriers affecting participant retention

Required qualifications

• Professional background in psychology or related fields (social work, education, human development)
• 2 to 4 years of experience supporting youth or adults from vulnerable backgrounds in psychosocial guidance or personal development
• Experience in facilitating educational workshops or mentoring junior talent
• Basic knowledge of employability, selection processes, or human resources
• English proficiency at a B2 level (desirable)
