Program Officer

Job Summary

Seeking exceptional Program Officers, the full-time remote position will manage grant investigations and a portfolio of grants, evaluating funding opportunities to direct hundreds of millions of dollars annually towards global health and poverty alleviation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Investigating and recommending grants by assessing funding opportunities and structuring grants effectively
• Managing a portfolio of grants to ensure they are on track and aligned with evidence-based practices through collaboration with grantees
• Analyzing interventions for cost-effectiveness and making recommendations for prioritization or further work

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in similar or closely-related roles
• Demonstrated ability to use empirical tools for evidence-based decision-making
• Advanced degree in a quantitatively-oriented field preferred, but not mandatory
• Experience in building and managing relationships with external parties, including grantees and experts
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize empirical research
