Program Specialist II

Job Summary

Providing dedicated support to patients and doctors, the full-time remote Program Specialist II will manage inquiries related to benefit coverage, payments, and reimbursements while collaborating with healthcare providers and patients to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized support via phone and online, addressing insurance benefit inquiries and payment issues
• Assist with prior authorization processes and benefit verifications while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
• Conduct comprehensive searches for alternate reimbursement resources and follow up on customer inquiries in a timely manner

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma with 4 years of experience or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
