Job Summary

A company is looking for a Programmer to support the U.S. Department of Agriculture's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather information from various database and non-database sources
• Develop responsive records primarily in Excel using extracted data
• Utilize a range of software applications for data management and analysis

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn software applications including Excel, JCL, COBOL, and SQL
• Experience with databases and data extraction techniques
• Strong aptitude for mainframe interrogation and related software
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Relevant educational background in programming or a related field is preferred
