Programmer III

Job Summary

Collaborating with a diverse team, the full-time remote Programmer III will design and implement features across various subsystems, ensuring system stability and performance while providing guidance to junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across AI, UI, Physics, Character, Graphics, Engine, and Tools subsystems
• Design and optimize systems to meet technical and schedule requirements, while collaborating with QA and technical leadership
• Author and review technical documentation, providing feedback and support to team members on tools and workflow issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of C++ and experience with large code bases
• Proficiency in debugging tools and optimization techniques
• Ability to provide meaningful time estimates for tasks and break down large projects into actionable sub-tasks
