Programmer/Systems Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting day-to-day management of University Registrar applications, the full-time salaried Programmer/Systems Analyst will analyze, develop, and recommend policies related to registrar functions while collaborating with IT to ensure data integrity and facilitate reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Support technical set-up and data oversight for registrar systems, including Banner and related applications
- Analyze systems data and perform process reviews to streamline internal procedures and enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with IT to develop enhancements and execute updates to existing systems as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience in programming with languages such as C++, JavaScript, SQL, and PLSQL
- Several years of experience with systems like Banner, Workday, DegreeWorks, and/or CourseLeaf
- Experience in higher education with knowledge of enrollment, registration, and recordkeeping policies
- Proficiency in business process analysis and improving systems for operational efficiency
