Project Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Accountant to oversee and report on project cost accounting remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project cost accounting in adherence to company policies and procedures
• Identify, research, and resolve project issues while ensuring accurate reporting
• Manage monthly invoicing processes and assist with collections efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required
• Seven or more years of corporate accounting experience preferred
• Prior architecture, engineering, and/or construction accounting experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and experience with an ERP system required
• Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) preferred but not required
