Project Accountant

Job Summary

Overseeing project cost accounting in a remote capacity, the full-time Project Accountant will manage financial reporting, reconcile project cost reports, and act as a liaison between operations and corporate accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and report on project cost accounting in adherence to company policies
• Identify and resolve project issues while managing the monthly invoicing process
• Prepare management reporting schedules related to collections and accounts receivables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required
• Seven or more years of corporate accounting experience preferred
• Prior project accounting experience within the architecture, engineering, and/or construction industry preferred
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and experience with an ERP system required
• Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) preferred but not required
