Project Accountant

Job Summary

To support project cost accounting efforts, the full-time remote Project Accountant will oversee financial reporting, manage invoicing processes, and liaise between operations and corporate accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and report on project cost accounting in adherence to company policies
• Identify and resolve project issues while reconciling and analyzing project cost reports
• Manage monthly invoicing processes and assist with collections for past due balances

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required
• Seven or more years of corporate accounting experience preferred
• Prior project accounting experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry preferred
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and experience with an ERP system required
• Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) preferred but not required
