Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Accountant to support a large-scale IT divestiture initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budget models, track actuals vs. forecasts, and prepare financial summaries for leadership
• Classify costs accurately, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and provide documentation for audits
• Support financial modeling for divestitures and assist in program management tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of project accounting experience with large, complex programs
• Strong understanding of CapEx/OpEx classification, accruals, and financial controls
• Proficiency in Apptio, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Microsoft Project
• Ability to manage accounting and coordination tasks effectively under pressure
