Project Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Accounting Analyst for a remote, long-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track project budgets, monitoring financial progress and variances
• Record daily financial activity and conduct monthly cost analysis for projects
• Prepare financial reports and assist Project Managers with budget adjustments and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project accounting or financial analysis
• Experience in managing project costs and performing budget vs. actual analysis
• Strong understanding of general accounting processes and US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
