Project Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

To support the financial tasks of assigned consulting projects, the full-time remote Project Accounting Analyst will manage analysis, monitoring, and reporting while coordinating with vendors and customers to ensure contractual objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Handle financial tasks for consulting projects, including revenue and billing formulas, contract funding, and modification reconciliation
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and estimates for government management, while monitoring project performance against plans
• Coordinate with support teams and assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as NetSuite and Certinia, along with intermediate MS Excel skills
• Experience with revenue recognition and accrual accounting
• Familiarity with government contracting requirements is a plus
