Project Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

To support the accounting team, the full-time remote Project Accounting Analyst will manage financial tasks related to analysis, monitoring, and reporting for assigned consulting projects, ensuring compliance with contractual cost and schedule objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle financial tasks for consulting projects, coordinating with team members and external stakeholders
• Monitor contract funding, prepare financial reports, and perform variance analysis
• Reconcile project details between financial systems and assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite and Certinia, with intermediate MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and accrual accounting
• Experience with government contracting requirements is a plus
