Job Summary
To support the project billing process, the full-time Project Accounting Coordinator will manage client inquiries, verify employee chargeable time, and assist with accurate and timely billing while working remotely in the Eastern time zone.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the monthly invoicing process, including project set-up and issuing draft and final invoices
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients to facilitate effective billing and collections
- Monitor overdue accounts and assist in negotiating collections to improve cash flow
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant experience
- No prior experience required; experience in accounting/finance is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous experience in the engineering/construction or services industry is required
- Knowledge of accounting systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint
