Job Summary

To support project billing processes, the full-time Project Accounting Coordinator will manage client inquiries, verify employee chargeable time, and assist Project Managers with accurate and timely invoicing while working remotely in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee the monthly invoicing process, including project set-up and coordination of draft invoices with Project Managers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients to ensure effective billing and collections
  • Review vendor and subcontractor invoices and assist with annual financial audit preparation as needed
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant experience
  • No prior experience required; experience in accounting/finance is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Previous experience in the engineering/construction or services industry is required
  • Knowledge of accounting systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint
