Project Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly analytical and proactive Project Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will oversee project financial performance, revenue forecasting, and Deltek Vantagepoint administration while collaborating with project managers and executive leadership to enhance project profitability and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, labor utilization, and profitability while partnering with project managers to review financial performance
• Develop and maintain company-wide project revenue forecasts and prepare forecasting reports for leadership
• Serve as the primary Deltek Vantagepoint subject matter expert, establishing project setup standards and leading system enhancements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
• 3 years of ERP administrator experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) training
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Demonstrated experience using AI, automation, or data analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making
