Project Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly analytical and proactive Project Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will oversee project financial performance, revenue forecasting, and Deltek Vantagepoint administration while collaborating closely with project managers and leadership to enhance project profitability and reporting accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project managers to monitor project budgets, labor utilization, and profitability, providing financial guidance in review meetings
• Develop and maintain company-wide project revenue forecasts, analyzing metrics to improve accuracy and prepare reports for leadership
• Serve as the primary Deltek Vantagepoint subject matter expert, establishing project setup standards and leading system enhancements and training initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
• 3 years of experience as an ERP administrator, with required ERP training
• Preferred experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
• Certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred
• Demonstrated experience using AI, automation, or data analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making
