Project Analyst

Job Summary

To support the successful delivery of technology projects, the contract Project Analyst will work remotely, partnering with Project and Resource Managers to drive financial health through accurate forecasting, time approvals, and cost analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Diligently track and forecast project expenses and team hours, escalating invoicing issues to maintain budget integrity
• Actively support the daily management of projects, overseeing scope, change control, risks, and key decisions
• Research, collect, and analyze project data to generate insightful reports on budget status and forecasts, recommending process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, project support, or a related analytical role
• Solid understanding of IT systems and the project lifecycle
• Expert proficiency in MS Excel and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic skills in developing and managing project schedules, with a working knowledge of MS Project, Teams, and SharePoint preferred
