Project Controls Integration Lead

Job Summary

Working remotely with an expected relocation to Washington, DC in 2027, the full-time Project Controls Integration Lead will manage the FORGE Engineering Cell's study program, create schedules, and produce project cost and schedule forecasts while integrating technical outputs and resolving workstream conflicts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the study program, including schedules, milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies
• Integrate outputs from engineers into unified design basis documents and incorporate data into cost and schedule estimates
• Track risks and design decisions to enable rapid decision-making and prepare integrated project status presentations for leadership

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in project engineering or technical program management in heavy industry, energy, aerospace, or defense
• Intimate knowledge of the Front End Loading (FEL) stage gate framework
• Strong technical foundation in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, or similar)
• Experience managing complex, ambiguous, early-stage projects
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to distill complex technical tradeoffs into clear decision frameworks
