Job Summary
To support critical construction-phase decision-making, the full-time remote Project Controls Specialist will manage budgets, deliver accurate forecasting, and oversee contract and invoice management for multiple concurrent energy projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage budgets and monthly cost reporting for 6-10 active construction projects, ensuring timely financial information for stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts while identifying budget variances and managing contingency tracking
- Prepare executive-ready reporting materials and conduct financial analyses to support project strategy and decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; applicable experience may substitute for the degree requirement
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project cost controls, budgeting, or project financial management within the energy industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
- Experience developing project cash flow forecasts and managing multiple project budgets simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear presentations and reports
