Project Controls Specialist Scheduler

Job Summary

Working remotely with occasional site visits in the NYC area, the full-time Project Controls Specialist III (Scheduler) will manage construction project scheduling using Primavera P6, review contractor schedules, and participate in project meetings for various rail/transit CMCI projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in logistical and workforce planning, incorporating inputs into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software
• Review and provide feedback on contractor-prepared baseline, update, and recovery schedules
• Accurately track contractor work progress and maintain communication with clients and consultants throughout project stages

Required qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with Rail and Transit agencies such as NYCT, MTA, Amtrak, or Metronorth
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and understanding of construction scheduling processes preferred
• Certifications with PMI or AACEI are preferable
