Project Cost Accountant
Job Summary
Collaborating with various business units, the full-time Project Cost Accountant will manage financial and project analysis, oversee full-cycle project accounting, and support energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in a hybrid role based out of Framingham, MA.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide accounting support and solutions for project cost and WIP analysis
- Drive the billing and invoicing process using Microsoft D365 for contracts
- Conduct monthly project workbook reviews, analyzing project status, costs, and forecasts
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in project accounting
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP)
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
- Strong grasp of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis
