Project Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Designer to provide design documentation for Building Management Control Systems focused on HVAC controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, material lists, and equipment schedules
• Perform basic electrical and sizing calculations for control systems
• Lead by example and adhere to standardized procedures to meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design Technology or related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R mechanical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of general computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive
• Familiarity with HVAC application engineering and computer drafting applications is a plus
