Project Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Designer who will provide design documentation for Building Management Control Systems focused on HVAC controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, material lists, and equipment schedules
• Perform basic electrical and sizing calculations for system components
• Develop submittals and O&M manuals while adhering to standardized procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience
• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design Technology or related field preferred
• Ability to read and understand HVAC/R and process mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of computer drafting applications, including CAD layout concepts
• Familiarity with HVAC application engineering and design practices
