Project Designer

Job Summary

Providing accurate design documentation for Building Management Control Systems, the full-time remote Project Designer will create diagrams, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, and material lists based on project specifications
• Perform basic electrical calculations and sizing for control valves and dampers
• Lead by example while adhering to standardized procedures and practices to meet project deadlines

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience, or a combination of experience and education
• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design Technology or related field; Bachelor's Degree in HVAC/R preferred
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Knowledge of computer drafting applications, with experience in Microsoft Visio and/or AutoCAD-LT preferred
• Familiarity with HVAC application engineering and design sequences of operation for electrical circuits
