Job Summary
To support the advancement of community solar and distributed generation projects, the full-time salaried Project Development Manager will manage projects through critical development milestones, serve as the lead contact on active projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development of distributed generation projects, focusing on community solar and ground mount solar
- Manage projects through key development milestones, including siting, permitting, and stakeholder coordination
- Identify project risks early and proactively support solutions while maintaining relationships with local jurisdictions and partners
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy development
- Strong background in community solar development
- Experience with ground mount and distributed generation solar projects
- Proven ability to manage projects across multiple stages of development
- Strong understanding of permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder management
