Project Director, AI Study

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Director to provide strategic, intellectual, and operational leadership for a long-term research initiative focused on the impacts of artificial intelligence on human development and society.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the strategic vision and provide intellectual leadership for the AI Century Study
• Lead the full research lifecycle, ensuring high standards for research quality and ethical governance
• Develop strategic relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the study's reach and influence

Required Qualifications

• PhD with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 11 years of experience in related fields
• Proven record of directing large-scale, multi-year research or evaluation projects
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex research initiatives across multiple organizations or sectors
• Demonstrated success in building and sustaining partnerships to support long-term research agendas
• Experience with longitudinal studies and translating research into policy-relevant insights
