Project Director, Early Head Start

Job Summary

To support a nationally representative study of Early Head Start programs, the full-time Project Director, Early Head Start will manage overall project operations, serve as the primary liaison with the Administration of Children and Families, and ensure high-quality deliverables while overseeing a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to ACF, managing client relationships and ensuring alignment with federal requirements
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all Baby FACES activities, overseeing day-to-day operations and project resources
• Develop and manage detailed project scopes, workplans, and timelines, tracking progress and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• Master's degree with 12 years of experience or PhD with 8 years of experience in relevant professional services
• Demonstrated track record managing complex, national-scale studies in the U.S
• Expertise in Early Head Start programs and experience with program evaluations
• Proven ability to establish productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing remote projects effectively
