Project Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the technical delivery of large-scale HVDC projects, the full-time Project Engineering Director will serve as the main technical contact for customers while managing engineering coordination, ensuring project requirements are met, and driving effective execution in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full technical execution of complex customer projects, ensuring designs meet requirements and budgets
• Oversee engineering activities for major grid projects, focusing on HVDC and FACTS solutions
• Identify technical risks and opportunities, driving mitigation plans to support project execution from start to finish

Required qualifications

• Significant engineering experience in an EPC environment within power generation, transmission, or distribution
• Strong HVDC experience, including technical leadership in large-scale transmission projects
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering project teams and coordinate across functions
• Strong technical knowledge in key engineering disciplines such as civil works and electrical design
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse stakeholders
