Project Estimator
Job Summary
Reporting to the Preconstruction Manager, the full-time remote Project Estimator will evaluate RFP packages, prepare detailed EPC cost estimates for high-voltage electrical projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and competitive proposal submissions.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate RFP packages to understand scope, schedule, and deliverables for assigned estimates
- Prepare detailed EPC cost estimates for various electrical projects, including transmission and distribution
- Collaborate with preconstruction team members to develop execution plans and schedules
Required qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in electric utility or EPC sectors
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience using estimating software and digital take-off tools
- Ability to develop project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera
