Project Finance Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the financial strategy and execution of renewable energy projects, the full-time remote Project Finance Associate will build and maintain financial models, assist in M&A transactions, and analyze PPA and community solar RFP responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize project- and fund-level financial models aligned with underwriting assumptions and RFP requirements
• Support execution of M&A transactions, including valuation, modeling, and due diligence coordination
• Analyze and model PPA and community solar RFP responses to support bid strategy and pricing

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, corporate development, or M&A, with exposure to solar and/or BESS
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, including project cash flows and valuation frameworks
• Familiarity with tax equity structures and renewable energy financing mechanics
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams under tight timelines
• Proactive and collaborative approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
