Project Management Director

Job Summary

Managing multiple internal business projects and programs, the full-time salaried Project Management Director will oversee cross-functional teams, direct project schedules and budgets, and ensure successful delivery from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to best practices in project management
• Develop comprehensive project documentation, including business requirements, project plans, and status reports, while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders
• Assess project performance and identify improvement opportunities, providing vision and leadership for successful program outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent years of experience may substitute for education
• 7+ years of project management experience, including system implementation and managed care
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple sub-teams and resources
• Experience in developing project profiles and business cases for large strategic initiatives
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
