Job Summary

Experienced Program Managers will find a full-time remote opportunity to oversee task orders for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Science and Technical Support Services program, ensuring effective management of contractor personnel and compliance with federal regulations while supporting scientific research and environmental monitoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise contractor personnel, serving as the primary liaison between NIS and USGS stakeholders
• Develop staffing approaches, schedules, and cost estimates while monitoring contract performance and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and maintain accurate documentation and financial oversight

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Program Management, or Engineering
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 10+ years of program or project management experience supporting Federal Government contracts
• 5+ years managing large, multi-disciplinary federal programs or task-order-based programs
• Demonstrated experience supporting USGS programs or closely related federal scientific organizations
