Project Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing transmission-side capital projects in a regulated utility environment, the contract Project Manager will manage project scope, schedule, budget, and milestones from early planning through construction and close-out while collaborating with EPC partners and stakeholders remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with EPC partners to gather project updates and ensure alignment on project scope and milestones
• Work with cost management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for projects
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting on project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with 8+ years strongly preferred
• Experience in regulated utility environments, particularly with electric transmission projects
• Background with major electrical contractors or engineering firms focusing on transmission projects
• PMP certification is a strong plus; an engineering background with a PE is also desirable
• Familiarity with SAP, SharePoint, and forecasting tools such as TamCasting
