Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading complex healthcare modernization projects, the full-time remote Project Manager will provide project management, scheduling, analysis, testing, and implementation support for Department of Veterans Affairs initiatives, ensuring alignment across multiple organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for systems development and modernization activities
• Oversee testing strategy development, integration testing, and readiness assessments while providing weekly executive reporting on project progress
• Coordinate multiple concurrent Payer EDI modernization initiatives through effective schedule management and cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is acceptable
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible project management experience
• Minimum of four (4) years supporting federal healthcare programs, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
