Project Manager

Job Summary

To oversee the execution and modernization of a high-visibility Scheduling Event Bus Platform, the remote Project Manager will lead cross-functional delivery teams in an Agile/SAFe environment while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and delivering solutions that meet the needs of the Department of Veterans Affairs and its stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute agile project plans, leading Agile ceremonies to ensure synchronized delivery
• Drive the successful delivery and modernization of the Scheduling Event Bus infrastructure using modern DevSecOps practices
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for client leaders, maintaining a deep understanding of workflows and challenges

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within an Agile/SAFe environment
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern engineering workflows, including DataOps and AI solutions
• Strong understanding of federal regulations and compliance standards, such as FAR, FISMA, and NIST
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder engagement
• Ability to develop and present detailed project documentation and status reports
