Project Manager
Job Summary
To support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the full-time remote Project/Product Manager will direct delivery across a complex enterprise artificial intelligence portfolio, coordinating stakeholders and teams to ensure the successful execution of AI initiatives through Agile processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day program execution, including staffing, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder coordination for AI initiatives
- Lead Agile ceremonies and manage sprint backlogs using JIRA and FEMA management tools
- Produce and maintain program artifacts, including reports, communications plans, and risk registers
Required Qualifications
- Five to ten years of experience managing complex IT, software development, or AI/ML programs
- Experience with Agile delivery, product backlogs, and integrated schedules
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or comparable Agile/project-management certification preferred
- U.S. Citizenship and favorably adjudicated FEMA Public Trust suitability required
