Project Manager (Data Centers)
Job Summary
To support the delivery of large-scale data center projects, the full-time salaried Project Manager (Data Centers) will manage cross-functional teams and oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations while working remotely or from various locations including Houston, San Diego, New York, Portland, and Seattle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee power distribution and utility engineering projects, ensuring timely execution of design and construction deliverables
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, including budget, schedule, cost control, and resource allocation for utility capital improvement programs
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and compliance with utility standards and safety protocols
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience managing projects in power distribution, transmission & distribution (T&D), or utility engineering environments
- Proven experience in delivering feeder, distribution line, or grid modernization projects
- Strong understanding of utility operations, power systems engineering, and electrical distribution design
- Familiarity with NERC, IEEE standards, NEC codes, and utility regulatory requirements
