Job Summary
To manage aerial mapping, GIS, and remote sensing projects, the full-time remote Project Manager - Geomatics will oversee project estimating, scheduling, revenue recognition, and client interactions while collaborating with technical teams and support departments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project costs and schedules, proactively notifying clients of any risks to budget or timeline
- Support the sales team with scope of work development and technical inquiries during pre-proposal stages
- Document all project requirements in management plans prior to project kickoff
Required qualifications
- At least ten (10) years of project management experience
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in the aerial mapping and remote sensing industry
- Expertise in aerial and remotely sensed data, including industry standards and technical limitations
- Proven ability to manage and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of survey, GIS, lidar, imagery, or other remotely sensed data
