Project Manager II

Job Summary

Experienced in project management, the full-time remote Project Manager II will provide Project Management and Risk Management support for the Ames Research Center, focusing on managing IT projects and collaborating on project execution and delivery while promoting risk awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and track all OCIO IT projects in accordance with NASA policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Center Project Manager to support project formulation, execution, and delivery throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the ARC Risk Manager in preparing and presenting risk details, mitigation options, and recommendations

Required qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience in project management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project Online, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• At least 2 years' experience developing comprehensive project plans in Microsoft Project
• At least 2 years' experience in Risk Management, including risk logging and assessments
• Experience with configuration management procedures across a variety of assets
